My 2007 Xterra did the same exact thing this morning. My wife said it didn't want to start but finally did (it's like 15 degrees F here today) and she said the "check engine soon," "SLIP," and "VDC Off" lights were all on and it wouldn't move. This is most likely the issue. I had these same lights come on in my G35 and after replacing the camshaft sensors, that fixed the issue. Had a similar experience 141k miles 6speed manual, VDC and Slip light stayed on. rough idle and fluctuation rpms when steady on the gas. Of course, it's due for the yearly inspection this month and I'm not sure it will pass in Texas with those four lights on.
